Is it Scratches or Just Dirt?

Many people believe their vinyl records are "scratched" beyond repair when in fact the problem is deeply in ground material (dust and mould etc) stuck inside the records grooves. You can tell the difference between scratches and various forms of foreign material stuck in the grooves by asking; does the sound happen once a revolution of the turntable, or do I hear pops and crackles for the whole records revolution? If so, it is more than likely deeply in ground material stuck to the records surface.

The Problem: small particles of mould, dust, oils, skin, smoke and other material actually get stuck to microscopic ridges located in the grooves of the record. This is caused by the friction of the stylus passing over these tiny ridges and building up just enough heat to make the vinyl sticky. The stylus then picks up the loose material as it travels through the grooves and deposits them on the sticky ridges.

Conventional record brushes cannot remove this microscopic material and whilst various record cleaners may remove some, none will properly lift out all the dirt that is caught between the tiny grooves, that is until RECORD REViRGiNiZER!

  

So How Does it Work?

 

Simple really, RECORD REViRGiNiZER is a viscous non-toxic liquid that is poured onto one side of the vinyl record. It is then massaged into the surface of the record and left to set. After setting, it is easily peeled from the vinyl surface taking all the microscopic material with it; it's just like facelift...but for vinyl records!

Once applied, your records will be restored minus all the pops, crackles and other background noises. As well as the removal of background noise your vinyl music will also have a much better depth and clarity; another reason vinyl is sill enjoyed by audiophiles worldwide.

RECORD REViRGiNiZER is ANTI-STATIC, NON-TOXIC and the best vinyl record treatment money can buy. REViRGiNiZER is formulated with just the right elasticity to remove all the embedded material whilst at the same time, not leaving any residue or damaging your vinyl. The not so small print; RECORD REViRGiNiZER cannot remove or repair mechanical scratches that have damaged the grooves, unfortunately they are there to stay. In some cases a treatment may improve a scratched area but this is dependent upon many factors.
